A cannibal crab has been eating other crabs in the seatank! Oh no! The Diamond Sculpins were working at the tank a few days after a hermit crab was killed.One of their members, Astrid, spotted a cracked clam shell. "Look!" she said. "The shell is cracked!" "The murderer strikes again." said Rowan, new member of the Diamond Sculpins and yours truly. This is the only evidence found by the Diamond Sculpins, however, the Secret Seahorses saw a murder and got it on video (see above). Here's what information I picked up when I interviewed Elyse, good friend, member of the Secret Seahorses and fellow blogger: "I told you a thousand times!" she said. "The kelp crab was the murderer!" Here's what she said when I asked her what her teammates saw: "Lyrik saw it pick up the dead hermit crab and started eating it." she said "And we also saw blood on the rocks." This story shows that the kelp crab is a serious threat to the other crabs, so crabs beware!

                                HOME                                     

Remember how we said in the last chapter: "You wouldn't have believed it unless you saw it with your own eyes"? Well Bob, Olivia and Jake didn't at first. They wiped their eyes to make sure they weren't dreaming. "Uuuuhhhhh...guys? Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" said Bob. "I'm not sure, everything's blurry after that crash. What are you seeing? Oh wait. I think I'm starting to see something. *Gasp!* I see it now!" said Jake. "Yes! Yesyesyesyesyes! YES!" said Olivia. She started to dance. "Mhmm, oh yeah! Uhu Uhu Uhu!" she said. "We Did it! We did it! I was starting to doubt it, but we actually did it!" said Jake. "We finally made it home!" said Bob. "Let's go in!" said Olivia. They walked inside of the school and they were so happy to see their parents again that Olivia let out a little scream of happiness. "Kids!" said Merlin. "We were so worried!" said Gloria. Then a voice that Olivia obviously recognized because she turned her head in surprise. "Olivia?" she said. "Cindy!" said Olivia. "I knew you were coming back soon!" said Cindy. "Where's Luke?" asked Bob. Luke was his best friend. "Right here!" said Luke. Then they did their trademark handshake. It didn't even need to be secret because it was so hard to do. It was a hi-five on each hand and then a double hi-five and then a crossed double fist bump and then... well, to make the long story short it's really long. Just then Div. 4 came to look at the sea tank. It was the whole class: Rowan, Elyse, Omar, Fin, Amlisha, Jenna, Calianna, Isabella, Alexis, Sianna, Astrid, Carmanah, Cleo, Ryan, Alpha, Lyrik, Jaidyn, Leith, Kohen, Cassandra, Sierra Joy, and even their teacher, Ms. Carrico. "Hey, guys, looks like we've got admirers!" said Jake. Once again they were back home. This time though, Once and for all.

                                 The Family                              

"Ha! Ha! That girl is so funny!" said Jenna. "What girl?" said the mom. "Sierra Joy." said Jenna. "She's my best friend." Then her little brother, Jeremy piped in. "Rowan's MY best friend," he said. "He's awesome." "Yeah, but Sierra Joy is better!" said his sister. "No, Rowan!" "Sierra Joy!" "Rowan!" "Sierra Joy!" "Rowan!" All Bob, Olivia and Jake could do was sit and listen to them argue. "Man, I'm thirsty!" said Jake suddenly. "Me too." said Olivia. "So am I." said Bob. "I'm going to go get some water!" he said. "Mom, can I play Sackboy when we get home?" said Jeremy. Just then, Bob hopped out of the back and right onto Jenna's phone. "AAAAAHHHHH!" she said. "AAAAHHHH!" said Bob. "AAAAAHHHHH!" "AAAAAAAHHHHH!" "AAAAAAHHHHHH!" she said as she tried to squash him. But Bob was too quick for her and he jumped on top of her hand, so she ended up smashing her phone instead. "Too slow!" said Bob. Jenna screamed. "Ha! ha!" said Jeremy. "Chicken!" "Jenna Fitzpatrick Watterson, what on earth are you screaming about!?" said the mom. Then the baby of the family, Stella said something: "Oogoo gwa." said Stella. "What was that Stella?" said the dad who-just like the mom- had no idea what the heck was going on in the back seat. "Oogoo gwa!" said Stella again. "Sorry, What did you say Stella?" said the mom. Then, Stella shouted as loud as she could: "OOGOO...GWAAAAAAAA!!!!!!" Meanwhile, Olivia and Jake had constructed, in the trunk of the car, a slingshot, fit for a crab! They made it out of sticks and elastic bands. Jake was loaded in it and Olivia was going to fire. She aimed at the windshield. "Okay, I'm ready. FIRE!" said Jake. "Yes sir captain sir!" said Olivia. She let go of the elastic and Jake went flying into the windshield and the mom saw him and-"AAAAAHHHHHH!"-That's when the car went off the road and crashed into a tree. The crabs got out of the car and looked around. The family was scared that they ran into the forest, never to be seen again. "Mayday! Mayday!" said the dad. "Move move move move move!" he said. And if you hadn't seen it with your own eyes, you wouldn't believe where they had crashed.

"Time to go Olivia!" said a very annoyed Bob "NOOO!" yelled Olivia "So you don't want to go back to the tank?" he said. "Only if Finn comes with us." said Olivia "Yeah!" said Jake "I can't........... I'm a fish! Haven't you noticed that already?!" said Finn  "Well excuse me! Just trying to be nice here!" said Olivia. "Yeah! Nice bus, not in service! Shutting down the Jake and Olivia nice farm! No niceness served here!" said Jake "Bye." said Finn "Bye bye." said Olivia. "Bye." said Jake. "Good bye." said Bob "So now................... said Olivia. But a voice cut her off.      "Who ate my apple???!!!!   "AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" yelled Olivia. "What was THAT?!" shouted Bob. "Weeelllll...y'see... I stole an apple." said Olivia quickly. "You WHAT?!" said the three boys all at once. "I ate it right away!" she said. "Doesn't matter. Right now we need to get going." said Bob. "Right!" said Jake. They got out of the aquarium and found a car at the side of the road. There was a family getting in the car. "Jeremy, Can you get into the car please!" said the mom. "Not now Mom I'm playing woodchip boodchip with Lyrik!" said the boy (Who Bob guessed was Jeremy). "Jenna, can you get in the car?" said the mom again. "Not now mom, I'm texting my friend." said Jenna. "Dear, can you get the kids in the car?" said the mom to the dad. "Alright troops, do what your mother says and get in the car! C'mon move move move move move!" "Yes sir!" said both kids as they marched into the car. At the same time the crabs hopped secretly into the back of the car.

Bob gestured to Olivia and Jake to help him. "Seriously I wouldn't move if I were you. I'm a master of martial farts!" PFFFFT "Wooh! Excuse  me! It's alright buddy, I'm just messing with you." He helped Bob up. "Who are you?" the three friends said. "Names Finn. Welcome to my tank." "Hi! I'm Olivia. And this is my brother Bob and my friend Jake." "Hello." said Bob. " 'Sup yo." said Jake. "Could we stay here for a while? We need shelter for the night." said Bob. "Sure, man. where's your house?"  said Finn. "We got taken away from our house by some scientists. And separated from our parents."  said Olivia. "Who are your parents?" said Finn. "Merlin the adventurer is my dad and my mom is Gloria." "We live at the sea tank on the other side of the sea." "I sea. Get it? sea? huh?" said Finn "HARDY HAR HAR!" said Bob. "Quick! Hide! Here come the people that work here!" said Finn. " Here's your food guys! Eat up!" said the worker. "I think he's gone. You can come out now." said Finn. "You said scientists captured you. But why aren't you there now?" "We're on a mission to get back home." said Bob. "And if all goes well, it'll work."

"I can't believe it! We're in the city!" said an exited bob as he looked around in wonder at all of the billboards, shops and lights. Olivia and Jake were amazed too. They wished they come here every day. "Yeah, this is awesome." said Olivia. "Guys I hate to break your "concentration" but we should probably find some sort of shelter." "Why don't we go to that park over there first." "YEAH! Parky time!" and now we're going to take a break for a montage. ...................... we're done. "Those Subway TM  sandwiches were really good." "Yeah, WERE good. Ha ha!" then suddenly... VVVRRRRMM! "AAAHHH! What was THAT!?" "I don't know but you can see they're names on they're backs." "Hey Journey!" "How ya doing Hugo!" "Hello Challenger!" CAW CAW! "And what was that!?" "Seagulls." said bob. He sounded angry. "What did seagulls ever do to you, Bob?" "A seagull ate my cousin Randy." "Oh. Okay." "After all that, I really think we should find some place to spend the night." "Your right Olivia. It's starting to get dark." "Let's go to that aquarium!" "Yeah. And it has a nice tank by the looks of it!" "Okay we'll spend the night in there. But be careful. We don't know what sort of creatures are in the tanks." "Relax, Bob. What could possibly go wrong?" Famous last words. Bob thought to himself. They went into one of the tanks. Then suddenly they some kind of figure (that to Bob looked like a fish with a sail on it's back) circled them in the darkness. "I hate to toot my own horn but, BEEP BA BEEP BA BEEP BEEP!!!" The figure charged toward Bob and pinned him down. "Don't move." He said

                                In The Boat                              

"We've been traveling for days in a rickety old boat and still no sign of civilization." "Relax, Jake. And we've only been on the water for 45 minutes not days." "Oh......Right." "Guys, I hate to interrupt but I'm getting kind of hungry." "Olivia I KNOW! You've been saying that since we got on the boat!" Bob was growing very impatient with Olivia. "Well I'm telling you because it's true!" "Can I ask you guys a question?" "YES!" "Uuuuhhh... okay what does this map even-" " I know, I know. It's coloured pink. That was Olivia's idea." "Yep" "No I wasn't going to say that. I was going to say what does it mean?" "We'll tell you that later. Right now I have to start rowing again." "One of us should get some food." "I brought a fishing rod from the tank."  Bob and Olivia stared at him in amazement. "You mean to tell us that every time Olivia said "I'm hungry" you couldn't have said anything?" "Guess not." "Let's go fishing!" Later... "We actually caught quite a bit of plankton with that fishing rod. Thanks for bringing it, Jake." "Well you know what I always say, I like to be prepared." "Actually, you've never said that. Ever." "Oh. Yeah." "Hey guys! I think I see land up ahead!" "Your seeing things Olivia." "No she's right! Soon we'll be back home."
